Will Hamilton

I was born and raised in Arab, Alabama. Growing up my parents raised me to believe that nothing in this world is free and you can only get what you want in life by working for it. I attended Arab City Schools from primary school to high school and graduated in 2014 in the top 15 in my class. I grew up on a cattle farm so agriculture has always been apart of my life. Being from Arab, which has a large number of poultry farms, I knew about the Poultry Industry but I had no idea the vastness of the Poultry Industry or how vital it was to Alabama's economy. I did not know that I could major in Poultry Science until my Junior year of high school at the State FFA Poultry judging competition. I never really thought about majoring in Poultry Science until I realized how much of an impact poultry had on the world. Now as a Poultry Production major at Auburn I am gaining knowledge and experience that I can use to make a positive impact on the poultry industry.
